This is going to be a short post for such a long title - but don't worry, it's packed with content that you won't want to miss. You may have noticed some users proudly displaying "Top Solver" badges next to their profiles. These badges are not just for show; they represent a significant achievement within our community. To earn this coveted badge, a user must solve more than 67 problems, which is no small feat. Yes, you read that correctly—67 problems! This limited edition badge is set to be retired in February, making it a unique opportunity for those who are eager to showcase their problem-solving skills. As we move forward, it's exciting to announce that each month will feature a special badge, creating new opportunities for recognition and motivation among our users. This monthly badge initiative aims to encourage continuous engagement and participation, fostering a vibrant and active community. In addition to the badge system, we are also planning a significant rework of Gradient, our learning system. One of the most notable changes will be the removal of the clunky "Start Quiz" button, which has often been a source of frustration for users. This change is part of our ongoing commitment to improving the user experience and making learning more intuitive and enjoyable. However, that's not all—we have some other enhancements in the pipeline that we believe will further streamline the process and make it even more user-friendly. Stay tuned for more details! Moreover, we are thrilled to announce that we will be (trying) to expand our problem set to a whopping 1,000 problems. This expansion will not only enrich the learning experience but also provide a wider variety of challenges for users at different skill levels. However, this ambitious goal cannot be achieved without YOUR help. We highly encourage community contributions, as your input is invaluable in creating high-quality problems that can benefit everyone. It's worth noting that the February badge may or may not be related to contributing problems, adding an element of surprise and excitement to the upcoming month. We look forward to seeing how our community responds to these changes and the new opportunities that await. Together, we can create an even more engaging and enriching environment for all learners.
